YOSA Presents Dancing Queen: The Music of ABBA

For one night only, the YOSA Philharmonic celebrates the timeless music of ABBA! Backed by a full orchestra, four of San Antonio’s finest pop vocalists—Chapel Korrot, Mary Morrow, De’Von O’Neal, and Bobby Tschoepe—reimagine ABBA’s greatest hits with a fresh orchestral twist. Sing along to timeless favorites like “Dancing Queen,” “Take a Chance on Me,” “Super Trooper,” “Waterloo,” and many more in this unforgettable night of music.

ABBA’s legacy as one of the most successful pop bands of all time includes over 400 million records sold worldwide, countless chart-topping hits, and a lasting influence on music, theater, and film. The Swedish supergroup captured hearts from their Eurovision win with “Waterloo” in 1974 to their record-breaking musical and movie franchise. Now, hear their music like never before, reimagined with a full orchestra.

Youth Orchestras of San Antonio continues its Classic Albums Live series with this performance, reinventing classic rock and pop songs with orchestral accompaniment, following past celebrations of Prince, Queen, the Beatles, and Selena. Don’t miss this rare chance to experience ABBA’s beloved pop masterpieces in a whole new way with the YOSA Philharmonic.

About the Vocalists

In addition to her work at Six Flags and SeaWorld, Chapel teaches voice and piano lessons, sharing her love of music with students of all ages.

Mary Morrow has been a member of the San Antonio Mastersingers for over a decade, with highlights including concerts with Andrea Bocelli and touring throughout Europe. De’Von O’Neal was born and raised in El Paso, and has lived in San Antonio for five years. He will graduate from UTSA in May, with a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance under the supervision of Professor John Nix. He has performed with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra on several occasions, and sang with Andrea Bocelli at the Frost Bank Center as part of the San Antonio Mastersingers. Although he has a classical music background, his passion is ‘70s-90s R&B and pop.
