Generation NEXT’s Early Arts Program offers pre-school students opportunities to experience music, dance, theatre, and puppetry in the classroom throughout the school year. Professional artists specialized in each of the four art forms will visit the classroom for approximately 10 minutes to engage students through active participation in their respective art form. The goal of Early Arts is to provide exposure to the arts to pre-school students in early childhood.
What to expect on your next or future visit:
- Locally based professional Artist with experience in Early Childhood Education
- Four or more art forms (Music, Dance, Theater, and Puppetry)
- High quality of performers and performances
- Interactive performances
- Age appropriate performances
- Performances of ten minutes
- Community Learning
- Performances held in early childhood classrooms
- Four visits per year (for example: October, November, March and April)
- The Tobin Center Experience to our youngest audience members!
